Fellows Spotlight | Raegan and Trevor Waite

The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices, and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work.

Raegan and Trevor are the fourth husband and wife duo to come through our fellowship program. (The other couples were David and Liz Byers [2024], Zach and Maddie Wild [2024], and Kat and Evan Williams [2020 and 2021].) Despite the fact that they went to rival universities Taylor (Raegan) and Indiana Wesleyan (Trevor), Trevor said, “I love learning new things with Raegan.”

Originally from Pittsboro, Indiana, the Waites now live in Broad Ripple. Raegan owns her own wedding photography business, and Trevor is studying to become a financial advisor. They love to travel together, and have taken a few road trips in a rented camper van.

Here’s a little of what they had to say about what they are anticipating during this year:

Why are you interested in CCF?

Raegan: “I thrive learning from others in person, and think this would be a great environment to be challenged & encouraged in my faith.”

What’s an outcome you hope to achieve as a result of the fellowship?
Trevor: “I have been at 3 different jobs in the past 5 years (just now starting my fourth) and I believe a part of that is not feeling content or confident in knowing how my work is impacting the Kingdom. I'm hoping to reshape that mindset.”

Our mission is to help adults of faith like Raegan and Trevor come to see how their work matters to God and is an important part of Indianapolis’ flourishing. We’re so happy to have them as part of our fellowship class this year!
