Fellows Spotlight | Madeline Wild

The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices, and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work.

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
Mooresville, IN

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?

Indianapolis, IN (Historic Watson McCord Neighborhood)

WHAT DO YOU DO/WHERE DO YOU WORK?

Analytics Manager at the Richard M Fairbanks Foundation

I DECIDED TO DO THE CCF FELLOWSHIP BECAUSE...

a friend who I trust and am very similar to loved it and recommended it as a way to connect to the city, my career, and other young professionals in the same life phase. I am excited to learn more about the systems that directly or indirectly impact life in our city.

IN YOUR CURRENT WORK (WORKING FULL TIME/PART TIME, GOING TO SCHOOL, AND/OR RAISING CHILDREN) HOW DO YOU SEE THE MISSION OF GOD AT WORK? IS IT EASY FOR YOU TO SEE? IS IT DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO SEE?

We fund non-profits to do the direct work of serving Indianapolis's education, health, and workforce communities. Because we fund direct services and organizations it is easy to see how this is work that is missional, because the point is to make Indianapolis a more vibrant city. A recent development is that I also see how this job is a provisional gift of God to me specifically. There were many things I was lacking in my previous role and previous career that are cared for or managed by this job and because of that I feel a lot less stress than even when I applied for this fellowship.

BY THE END OF THE FELLOWSHIP, I HOPE TO…

have a deeper understanding of myself as a community member in Indianapolis, have a deeper understanding of ways to enact equity in Indianapolis, and feel a deeper and more personal connection to God

Elizabeth Caudle
I am a photographer in the Indianapolis area that specializes in capturing the essence of the moment. Our lives are made of moments and the ability to keep some of those moments forever is a wonderful feeling. Whether you have kids, are engaged, or are a senior in high school, I would love to talk to you about capturing your moments.
