Fellows Spotlight | Liz Byers
The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices, and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work.

WHAT DO YOU DO/WHERE DO YOU WORK?
TT Serve Program Manager at Thompson Thrift
I DECIDED TO DO THE CCF FELLOWSHIP BECAUSE...
I want to learn more about Indianapolis and how I can contribute to a meaningful impact on my city.
IN YOUR CURRENT WORK (WORKING FULL TIME/PART TIME, GOING TO SCHOOL, AND/OR RAISING CHILDREN) HOW DO YOU SEE THE MISSION OF GOD AT WORK? IS IT EASY FOR YOU TO SEE? IS IT DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO SEE?
In many ways, it is easy to see the mission of God at work in my role as I work with multiple nonprofit organizations and create meaningful serving opportunities for my coworkers. However, it can still be easy to get lost in the organizing and programing aspect of my job. It is also easy to rely on the mission of our company and I can forget to step back and see how it all fits within the greater mission of God - and what is my personal contribution to that.
BY THE END OF THE FELLOWSHIP, I HOPE TO HAVE…
a great sense of purpose in my role and a deeper understanding of Indianapolis.
