Fellows Spotlight | Isaac Poplin

The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices, and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work.

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
Franklin, IN

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?

Indianapolis, IN

WHAT DO YOU DO/WHERE DO YOU WORK?

I works as an associate pricing actuary for OneAmerica. The team that I am on specifically participates in the Pension Risk Transfer industry.

I DECIDED TO DO THE CCF FELLOWSHIP BECAUSE...

I wanted to answer questions around how Good sees my work and how it has value.

IN YOUR CURRENT WORK (WORKING FULL TIME/PART TIME, GOING TO SCHOOL, AND/OR RAISING CHILDREN) HOW DO YOU SEE THE MISSION OF GOD AT WORK? IS IT EASY FOR YOU TO SEE? IS IT DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO SEE?

I think sometime it is easy to see in a macro context of ensuring that aging employees are paid their pension benefits. However, it is definitely difficult to see just in the day to day.

BY THE END OF THE FELLOWSHIP, I HOPE TO…

have a better understanding of how God sees my work and how it contributes to the flourishing of Indianapolis.

Elizabeth Caudle
I am a photographer in the Indianapolis area that specializes in capturing the essence of the moment. Our lives are made of moments and the ability to keep some of those moments forever is a wonderful feeling. Whether you have kids, are engaged, or are a senior in high school, I would love to talk to you about capturing your moments.
