Fellowship Experience | Laura Booram

The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work. We asked these questions six months into the Fellowship experience. To get to know Laura a little more, check out this video.

Now that you have been a part of the Fellowship experience for a few months, do you believe that your work matters to the mission of God? If so, how?

I do. I believe any opportunity to work along side people gives you the chance to participate in the mission of God through loving people with compassion and authenticity. Regardless of the task, there is a chance to really care for people and met them where they are in life.

What has your experience been like so far?

While there is some work to be done around Saturday forum's, I have really enjoyed my time and co-hort.

What is one thing that you want others to know about the Fellowship?

If you are struggling with your value in your work place, seeing your purpose in what you do, or desiring a bigger perspective on how God views work- do Circle City Fellows. The ability to have your mind opened up to different ways of seeing the world and getting a bigger and better perspective of your city and God- is invaluable.
