Fellowship Experience | Caryn Costlow

The fellowship experience through Circle City Fellows gives Fellows a structured environment to learn about how their work is meaningful to the Mission of God and to the flourishing of the City of Indianapolis (and beyond). During nine months, Fellows create deep connections with their peers, focus on building spiritual and professional practices and create tangible ways in which they can impact their place of work. We asked these questions six months into the Fellowship experience. To get to know Caryn a little more, check out this video.

Now that you have been a part of the Fellowship experience for a few months, do you believe that your work matters to the mission of God? If so, how?

Yes, I believe that my work is important and valued by God. Walking alongside children or adults and encouraging them to discover and walk in who God has made them to be might allow them to step further into their specific part in God's mission.

What has your experience been like so far?

Circle City Fellows has encouraged me to pursue a dream that seemed too impossible before. I now have more confidence in myself and believe that God placed this dream in my heart for a purpose greater than what I might understand. I am so grateful to have the support of this fellowship in navigating the beginning stages of what this could be, but also a strong sense of grounding when looking at my hopes for it alongside God's mission.

What is one thing that you want others to know about the Fellowship?

It is really an amazing thing to be accepted and encouraged to walk into who God uniquely made you to be by a group of strangers that quickly have become like close friends and family.
